In May 2019 the author put together a small display introducing this review as part of the museum’s Trains! Trains! Trains! event. The aim was to both explain the importance of what might be often seen to be a humdrum artefact, and therefore overlooked, and to begin to tell some of the historical stories that involved industrial railways.
